Early Years Assistant - Southampton (Temporary)
Simply Supply are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are based near to Southampton and who have a real passion for working with children aged 0-5 years and who have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
About the role
You will work in a variety of early years settings across the city of Southampton and we can offer flexible working hours to suit your requirements.
You will assist with the day to day care of the children in the setting, following their routines and supporting the staff in the settings. You will adhere to their policies and procedures and offer help where you can.
Applicants will ideally have a qualification in Early Years or Childcare, however this is not essential as long as you are passionate about working with children and have previous experience in this area. We will need to take up a minimum of three professional references, including your most recent employer. You will also be required to complete a DBS application form (unless you already have a current DBS registered with the Update Service).
