Our client is an international group manufacturing within the automotive sector.
The group prides itself on its innovative products which provide improved safety and environmental benefits.
The company is a global supplier and has a significant presence in the UK, and over 100 plants world wide.
A key vacancy has arisen for a Project Financial Controller, who will take responsibility for the aspects of reporting and financial reconciliations as well as the upkeep of the SAP system.
Key tasks include the following:
Completion and analysis of the project Capex and tooling report
Assisting in the completion of the month end accounting pack
Assisting in the preparation of the annual audit pack
Working closely with Programme Managers to control costs
Cost accounting
Budgets and business plan submissions
You will also become an SAP Super User
Requirements:
You will be a CIMA qualified accountant (or alternatively studying and close to qualifying). You will also have a sound understanding and working knowledge of SAP.
You will have experience within the automotive/manufacturing sector, and also knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley.
