Assistant Shift Team Leader (Permanent)

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an Assistant Shift Team Leader for our team in Beddington, working 42.5 hours a week.

In return for your hard work as our Assistant Shift Team Leader, we can offer a salary of £37,314 per annum, London Weighting Allowance of £4602 plus shift allowance (subject to working relevant shift pattern) either £1,850 or £5,125 per annum, along with excellent benefits, including:

The ideal Assistant Shift Team Leader:

• Engineering qualifications, preferably ONC / HNC (or equivalent)
• Safety qualification, preferably IOSH or NEBOSH
• Process or Power Plant experience
• Experience in safe systems of work, issuing Permits to Work / safety documentation and systems
• Experience of Maintenance Management Systems

Assistant Shift Team Leader Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the shift teams ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the ERF site
• Maximise waste input and energy output.
• Organise shift cover when required, ensuring shift complement is maintained.
• Flexible working requirements to achieve KPI’s.
• Ensure that all activities within the plant are carried out in a safe manner in line with company policies
• Manage the Safe System of Work as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
• Carry out risk assessments to ensure activities are carried out in a safe manner.
• Working with the management team striving for continual improvement in minimising Health, safety and environmental impacts at the plant.
