Business Development Director - Hotel Management Software (Permanent)

Have you worked in the operational side of a hotel or been a general manager followed by experience in selling software solutions? If so this could be your dream role as an international market leading software vendor that have an offering around hotel management software (including modules in housekeeping and maintenance, hospitality operations management, property management software) are looking to an a BDD to their team selling their offering to hotel chains and high-quality boutique hotels.

The Role:
As business development director you will be responsible for all sales and business development activity in the UK region which will be primarily new business focused but also with you managing a small number of existing accounts looking for cross and up sell opportunities. You will be managing the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting and following up on incoming leads due to their centralised marketing team and increasing reputation through to discussing the pain points with general managers of the hotels and demos of the product through to contract negotiation and closure of sales

The Candidate:
To be successful in this role you will need to have spent time working in the operations side of a hotel, ideally as a general manager but they will also consider people that have worked in other areas of hotel operations such as property management, hospitality management etc. You will also be able to demonstrate a track record of software sales and career progression based on over achievements of targets.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £65,000-£85,000 depending on experience, international travel, latest technology events and a MacBook as well as an uncapped OTE of 30-40% of base as a bonus structure.
