Do you want to take the step into the big time? Do you want to be able to influence an entire organisation with your PV experience? This could be the role for you.

I am currently teamed up with a global Pharmaceutical company focusing on rare and genetic diseases and they are looking to bring on board a Director of Pharmacovigilance for the European Union and QPPV responsibilities. This role will put you at the head of all pharmacovigilance acitivies happening within the organisation and you will be steering the department into the future.

Using your many years of experience in the indsutry you will be overseeing all PV systems for the entire product portfolio and pipeline, you will be the point of contact for all things PV in regards to SOP's, auditing, regulations and agencies. As we all know these opportunities are very few and far between due to the usual structure of large pharma companies so if you have been working as a deputy for several years now is your chance to become a sherrif.

The following are requirements to be able to apply for this position:

  • Medical Degree (Qualified Physician)
  • Minimum of 8 years experience within a Pharmaceutical or similar environment as a QPPV or Deputy QPPV
  • Experience in writing SOP's and process development
  • Knowledge of PV related requirements in North America, Latin American, Asia, Middle East, Australia etc
  • Expeience with inspections/audits and CAPA

With such an interesting area of thereaptuics to work in this could be a real chance to work in areas that will help some of the most vunerable patients and change so many lives for the better for those effected by CF, DMD and MPS I. Working in these genetic areas would also be a fantastic addition to any portfolio as they are not so common in the pharma company market place.

If you are interested in this opportunity to take the entire PV department by the horns and use it to change the life of people dealing with some of the worst genetic disorders. If you want this chance please email me your CV to [Email Removed].
