An exciting opportunity is now available for a Process Development Manager- Supply Chain to join a unique company based in Stevenage. Working in the global defence industry, the company currently has 10,000 employees across their UK and European offices and are now looking to increase their headcount by 5% in 2018.

This role will be working in the Procurement and Supply Chain environment running process and skills development projects that provide alternatives in the way the global supply chain is managed. Working with stakeholders from across our European sites you will be responsible for ascertaining requirements turning these into best in class solutions and supporting the users by improving the functional competence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working with the Operational and Functional Stakeholders to ascertain requirements to drive the Supply Chain Processes and Business Tools required to support
  • Working with the International SCM Communities of Purpose members to ensure Group and National BMS documents are written, maintained and utilised. This will include detailed procedures and templates to support our supply chain excellence methodologies
  • Working with external Providers to ensure professional training is identified and delivered
  • Defining and delivering company specific training modules that improve our functional competence
  • Supporting the operational supply chain managers with field missions on a requested basis

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced in supply chain management methodologies that support the Procurement and Supply Chain discipline
  • Experienced in Change Management at a corporate level across complex environments including multi-national.
  • Business school qualification or Engineering equivalent
  • Experience and understanding of the approaches in the Market Place and Industry standards
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Objective driven, determination to win
