Passenger Service Agent - Manchester Airport (Temporary)
From the very first step of checking in a passenger, right the way through to boarding them safely onto their flight, you as a Passenger Services Agent will play a key role in this fast paced, ever changing, diverse environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Provide clear, concise and courteous information for airline customers ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times
- To accurately check documentation and enter all customer information on computerised check-in system, as well as dealing with customer baggage in an appropriate manner in accordance with legislative requirements
- Assist with disembarking and embarking of passengers from the aircraft
- Operate paging and announcement systems at the gate as required
- Monitor particular needs of passengers and offer applicable services
About You:
The ideal candidate will;
- Have previous customer service experience
- Be well presented presented at all times
- Have excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Be able to work all assigned shifts covering a 24 hour operation, including weekends and holidays
Additional Information
- Full training will be given
- Shift work including Early/Days/Lates/Nights
- Please be aware this will be a temporary position
- 20 or 30 hr contracts available
Essential Requirements
- Provide a full 5 year checkable history
- Provide a basic Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check (cost of which to be met by the candidate)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be able to get to and from the airport at any time of a 24 hour rostered period
- Have current and valid Photo ID and proof of NI number
