Cook Supervisor (Temporary)

Our Pendine based client, is urgently looking to acquire a new Cook Supervisor to join their busy team as part of the Education Centre in Carmarthenshire County Council Until at least October 2018.
Based in the idyllic and beautiful coast town of Pendine, you will work in a unique setting where you will be required to work as part of a team. The role is Full time Monday to Friday (Mon 9-7, Tues 11-7, Weds 11-7, Thurs 11-7 and Fri 9-1) and as the educational centre caters for groups rather than the general public it will be mostly term time work.
Main duties and responsibility is as follows, but not limited to;
- Supervising a Catering Team
- Some Loan Working
- Overseeing the kitchen`s cleanliness & organisation standards,
- Paperwork
- Cooking and preparing of meals
- Ordering and Budgeting
- Menu creation and delivering
Ideally we are looking for someone who has a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate which is essential.
It is also essential for you to have experience of running a kitchen smoothly.
This role will require a DBS as you will come into contact with younger members of the public (typically school parties) and will be funded by the council.
Drivers considered ideally due to location and hours although not essential as some public transport available from local areas.
