Process Production Engineer - Belgium - Automotive (Permanent)

This position offers the unique chance to combine the knowledge of production and operations within an expanding tier 1 supplier. Job variety and communication with different teams and departments will be common every day and you will continue to learn & develop as an expert in your field.

Job description:

 To ensure effectiveness of production in all plants of the EA Region by doing production efficiency reporting and steering kaizen proposals and decisions.

 To have a strong view on production planning, volume vs. H/C relation, market trend effect
on production elements.
 To be strong at yokoten activities through plants in EA region, keen to standardize KPIs
across the EA region. Can execute comparisons cross-regionally to take it to a step further.
 To develop direct reports to customer about production problems in plants, obtaining
information from the plants & following up systematically until the closure of the identified
root causes.
 To identify & propose solutions of bottlenecks in processes in direct communication with the
plants.
 To hosts Quality & Production meetings and Plant meetings. To manage the meetings to
obtain consensus on improvement plans.
 To propose skill improvement plans to the plants.
