An excellent opportunity has become available for a part time Logistics Coordinator to join the team currently in Walthamstow but moving to Dagenham at the end of June. Your role will be to organise the despatch of drivers and vehicles daily. You will also organise activities to address any operational issues arising from the despatch of drivers and vehicles.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities...
- Vehicle key & fuel card issue
- Organise redeployment of driver resource as required
- Organise, amend and correct any delivery documentation issues
- Review vehicle defect reports and decide on road worthiness
- Organise vehicle repair with service agent
- Record any driver concerns regarding vehicle load & liaise with ESL operations team to adjust loads.
- Manage initial driver absence and communicate service impact to telesales and depot manager.
- Highlight inbound delivery issues against planned
- Receive inbound stock transfers onto JDE
- Complete depot manager handover report
The ideal Logistics Coordinator…
The successful Logistics Coordinator will be an effective communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will also be computer literate with working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience of working in a transport environment. You must be flexible to company needs as this role requires working unsociable hours.
