Are you a self-motivated and results driven eCommerce Account Management professional, looking to take on a new challenge? If so we are now recruiting for an eCommerce Business Development Manager and looking for individuals just like you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our client as an eCommerce Business Development Manager to set their eCommerce strategy and grow the business with their online retail partners.

Reporting into the Head of Digital, the role itself will be shaping the eCommerce strategy, working directly with a number of well-known retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership over the eCommerce channel of the business.

eCommerce Business Development Manager key responsibilities:

  • Delivering against net sales & profitability targets.
  • Leading the e-Commerce strategy and execution across both “bricks and clicks” and pure play accounts.
  • Being the e-Commerce evangelist to assist in upskilling your Sales & Marketing colleagues.
  • Aligning and integrating eCommerce strategy with branded content and branded communities.
  • Actively championing UK eCommerce to the global network sharing best practice, results and insights.
  • Developing strong commercial partnerships with eCommerce clients.
  • Leading annual trade negotiations and implement online JBP’s.

The ideal eCommerce Business Development Manager:

To be considered for this position, you will ideally need to have following:

  • A charismatic leader, with great communication skills and infectious enthusiasm for all things digital
  • Demonstrable success in eCommerce National Account Management or Direct to consumer eCommerce role – Amazon experience particularly preferred
  • In depth understanding of the online customer journey for retailers and pureplayers
  • Understanding of how to align trading terms to maximise the Amazon opportunity & drive channel profitability for the business
  • A strategic thinker, with strengths in planning and forecasting
  • Fully experienced in all aspects of P & L management.
  • Prior experience working with tracking agencies such as BrandView, Clavis, ChannelAdvisor, and Profitero
