Groundworker (Permanent)

Mountjoy was formed out of the Isle of Wight Council as part of The Quarr Group in 1992 and as such is proud to remain part of the Isle of Wight community working for a number of clients across the Island. Currently delivering contracts for Isle of Wight Council, Vectis Housing and property management companies; based out of our office in Ryde our team respond to repairs for housing, council buildings, schools, libraries, offices, leisure centres, fire stations and other public buildings through scheduled appointments.
Your new role
Joining our team as a Groundworker, you will be responsible for carrying out the right work at the right time; which means a quality job completed efficiently in a safe, clean and tidy way.
What you will need to succeed as a Groundwork
- Full clean current driving licence.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Over 2 years trade experience, ideally in the commercial repairs sector.
