Based in Bow, London as a Senior Finance Manager you will be entitled to a highly competitive basic salary and a great range of benefits.

What are we looking for?

As our ideal Senior Finance Manager, you will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of financial delivery, with significant operational and commercial experience in large multi site, construction or manufacturing businesses, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of complex organisations, key business issues and balance sheet controls/reconciliations. Having experience of working in the construction industry and with highway services type contracts will be a distinct advantage.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships with senior managers and stakeholders, excellent planning skills and the ability to work under pressure to identify and drive process change and improvement.

What will I be responsible for?

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will provide leadership and direction to the business and set priorities to support the strategy. assimilate, appraise, support, challenge and deliver accurate financial information that is crucial to the decision making, guidance and growth of the company to achieve its full potential, including tactical and strategic planning and decisions.

As our Senior Finance Manager, you will lead the production of accurate, timely and compliant financial information, translating this into management accounting reports. Effectively manage and report the company’s cash flow position. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to Group policies, processes, procedures and tools to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with SOx requirements. Sensitively manage the relationship and information requirements between Riney and our parent company Tarmac to ensure both parties are able to work harmoniously.
