Liaison Engineer - A320 family (Contract)
Are you a Liaison Engineer or Technical Representative with strong experience on A320 family aircraft looking for a brand new challenge?
Providing a central point of liaison and contract leadership between the maintenance providers and the airline in order to maintain the effective day-to-day performance of the maintenance supply process, the role of Liaison Engineer will also involve;
- Based on site at LGW base maintenance facility as Technical representative
- Working 28 days rotating nightshift (5, 5, 4) in support of overnight hangar maintenance operations
- Ensuring all Line and Base Maintenance interface documents (including Memo's, Network Instructions and other temporary documents) are maintained for currency and reviewed by partner MRO.
- Monitoring of individual line and base station performance against contracted service level requirements and when appropriate, the initiation of improvement action to restore performance delivery as agreed with the Head of Base and Line maintenance
- Ensure an ongoing program of service delivery improvement and financial contestability within the market-place.
- Ensure all commercial activity is recorded, and review details of supplier invoices.
The successful Liaison Engineer will have the following experience;
- A proven supervisory background in Aircraft Line and Base Maintenance environments
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of A320 family aircraft
- Experienced in contract Management processes appropriate to Line and Base Maintenance services.
- Good I.T. skills in particular Microsoft Office and knowledge of AMOS desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Committed to continuous improvement
