Art and Design Teacher (Permanent)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Teacher for Art and Design required for an exceptional school in West London they are looking for a teacher to join their Art Design and Craft department on a permanent basis in September. The school has excellent Art Department and is well resourced with 2 new classrooms being built. The school is happy to consider teachers on a full or part time basis. This is a great opportunity to work in an outstanding school. The school is keen to meet teachers over the next few weeks.

SCHOOL INFORMATION

The school is based in a lovely area in West London and the school was rated as "Outstanding" by OFSTED in its last inspection. The school was newly opened in 2006 and has superb facilities in all departments. The school has a very good level of behaviour and the academic standards are very high, and this is reflected in their exam results. They believe students should take responsibility for their learning and their actions. The pupils are encouraged to be challenged in lessons and to understand that learning is not always about getting the right answer.

REQUIREMENTS

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's and both British trained Art and Design teachers and overseas trained Art and Design teachers will be considered for this position.
