An exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply Planning Manager to join the S&OP team in Cumbernauld. The Supply Planning Manager will lead a team of Supply Managers, Supply Executives and Deployment & Distribution Executives to create both short and medium-term production plans as well as long term capacity plans for all of AG Barr’s factories and any contract packers that AG Barr are utilising, along with ensuring stock levels are optimised throughout our warehouse network.

Other Supply Planning Manager Responsibilities...

These supply plans will be used to drive material procurement, factory crewing levels and storage requirements. The two-lead metrics that the Supply Planning Manager is accountable for are service (volume fill and perfect order) and inventory value / volume. The job holder will have also be indirectly responsible for the cost per case metric due to the influence they will have on manufacturing patterns.

The ideal Supply Planning Manager …

To be successful in this role you must have a detailed knowledge of Supply Planning and an understanding up Supply Planning tools such as ERP, MRP and DRP. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. You must also be able to drive the team to a high level of quality as there may be times of uncertainty or nuance.
