Commercial Manager (Permanent)

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Commercial Manager for our team in Rochester, working 37.5 hours a week.

The ideal Commercial Manager:

• Proven experience within sales, purchasing or a commercial environment
• High level of accuracy and a quick learner.
• Good team player, with the ability to take the initiative when required.
• Ideally, experience in the recycling industry and experience of PRN trading / PRN System

Commercial Manager Responsibilities include:

• Recording and trading of Packaging Recovery Notes (PRNs) ensuring full compliance with EA protocols and all accreditations are maintained.
• Monitoring VRM performance with a focus on variance against budgeted revenue, budgeted costs and budgeted tonnage figures.
• Identify any significant variances compared to budget and ensure these are highlighted to the Managing Director and other relevant Commercial/Trading Managers.
• Coordination of monthly commodity reports from Commercial/Trading Managers (Paper, Plastic, Polymers, Metal & WEEE, Glass and PRNs)
• Production of monthly dashboard for Managing Director to present to the Leadership team including input from all Commercial/Trading managers.
