Graduate Engineer – Energy Recovery Facility
Location: Trident Park, Runcorn, Ardley, Dunbar or Beddington (with UK travel)

The Graduate Engineer Role

As a graduate joining our teams in the ERFs, you’ll provide technical support and analysis. Working closely alongside other disciplines in the ERF business (Operations and Engineering), you’ll help identify issues and challenges which have an impact on the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of an ERF and work towards solutions. This is an innovative environment that requires innovative ways of thinking. 

The role will be based at one of the following locations including Ardley, Trident Park, Runcorn, Dunbar, Beddington with travel between the different sites.

The Ideal Graduate Engineer:

A team player, you’ll have a relevant degree, such as Mechanical or Process Engineering, alongside a full driving license. You’ll also have strong relationship building, organisational and analytical skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to communicate information and new ideas effectively.

This Graduate Engineer will report to the Head of Performance Improvement supporting the continuous improvement approach to the business. Experience or knowledge of the waste industry or environmental services is desirable but not expected.
