I have a brand-new client, who are a Fintech Wealth Management start-up (3 years old) who have raised significant seed and Series A funding, and who are looking for their first Product Owner.
This business currently has 30 employees, some remote and some office based (they have a beautiful office in Fitzrovia with stunning views across the city) and you would be office based, but with the option to work from home whenever to suit you and the business.
The Product Owner will own, prioritise and deliver the Product Backlog. This company develop their software following Scrum methodologies and value shipping regularly.
After 3 years meticulously building an incredible development team and platform, it is essential that they maintain the consistently high levels of creativity, security, resilience and performance that their clients expect. The Product Owner will be dedicated to helping them deliver world-class products.
The successful candidate will be working closely with industry experts, world-class economists and brilliant technologists, all of whom are passionate about making this product a success. You'll be a part of how modern working practices and cutting-edge technology can come together to deliver remarkable products.
To be suitable for this role, you must have:
*Experience working with remote teams
*Financial sector knowledge and experience (preferably wealth management)
*Proven track record as Product Owner for at least 3 years
*Great communication skills both to technical and non-technical people
*Digital native - someone who embraces technology
*Life-long learner
*Comfortable speaking truth to power
Ideally you will also have:
*Cloud development experience
*Mobile app development experience
*Working with Design and Marketing teams
*Certified Scrum Product Owner
