The client:
We are looking for a Production Manager for a long-established market leader in the FMCG Food industry is seeking an outstanding and driven Production Manager.
The role:
As Production Manager you take full responsibility for the running of this fast paced and customised manufacturing site. Whilst this business continues to achieve excellent sales there are a number of operational challenges as they seek to increase capacity through improved productivity and Lean manufacturing initiatives which need putting in place to enable continued growth moving forward.
With plenty to go at this really represents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to come in and make a significant impact.
Reporting directly into the Operations Director, you will have a degree of ownership and autonomy which is second to none. With full accountability for the day to day running of this operation you will play an instrumental part in identifying and implementing the manufacturing strategy in order to achieve further success.
Key skills:
* Proven track record of successful lean manufacturing implementation.
* Excellent People Management skills.
* Ability to demonstrate clear commercial acumen with an understanding of the profit levels that the company must attain.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
