Site Assistant Technician (Contract)

Our client is currently searching for an Assistant Technician to work on a Nuclear Power station in Kent for a temporary contract for around 6 months. This may lead on to longer term work.

The position would suit an individual motivated to succeed and comfortable working in a team environment. The role will involve working with a team of engineers and technicians in the completion of cradle to grave installations and modifications to plant and systems as part of a project investment delivery programme. Such responsibilities will include:

Report to the Site Supervisor for all matters relating to quality and safety.

Undertake all work as instructed by the site supervisor, in accordance with the requirements of the task documentation, (i.e. Method Statement, Implementation Plan, Risk Assessments etc) with due care to minimise the potential for disturbance to site plant equipment.

Take reasonable care of the Health and Safety of themselves and those around them.

Comply, in addition with any other applicable Safety documents as identified by the Site Supervisor or client.

Use any Plant and Equipment correctly, and in accordance with training and instruction provided.

Inform their Supervisor of any situation considered to represent a safety concern.

Candidates will need to hold a CCNSG Safety Passport. Hours are 40 per week but could lead on to additional hours during shutdown periods.

Successful candidates will need to undergo a Security vetting procedure.
