I have just registered a brand-new Product Manager role which an industry leading Publishing/Media company. My client are already one of the UK's largest media companies, employing over 1000 experienced media professionals, and currently serve customers through over 200 weekly newspapers, web sites and apps. They currently have over 28M digital users per month and are growing rapidly.

With a portfolio of over 150 brands, this company have a substantial proportion of the UK's news readers!

With offices all over the UK, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop your career by joining this UK wide establishment, but you will be based full time in their London office, not far from Holborn station.

You will be part of the Digital development team, which now had over 40 people spanning Developers, Designers and Product Management. In this particular role, you will be a member of a team responsible for the continued development of a portfolio of consumer brands.

You will work with a number of departments on a daily basis, including technology, editorial, sales and marketing to deliver and develop ideas and turn them into successful products to drive revenue and audience growth

You will either be a strong Product Manager currently or have a strong background in editorial analytics and wanting to learn the Product Management side of things. You'll need the ability to utilise tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytic and Power BI to find, recommend and deliver product enhancements is key to this position.

You will need experience working closely with UX and design team and strong experience of working in an agile environment - you know product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, velocity etc back to front. Traditional and Agile Project Management experience, especially Scrum, Kanban and Lean.
You will know the differences between mobile web and native apps
You will have the ability to work at all times in a team-centric way and with enthusiasm, drive, respect and a smile
You will be used to working collaboratively with development teams
Personal credibility is important, helping you to get your ideas across and ensure that the agreed product vision becomes reality.
Your strong commercial awareness means you understand a range of business models - particularly classifieds and display advertising - and you should understand the needs and priorities of our commercial teams, ensuring that our products meet their requirements as they evolve.
