What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced KS1/ year one teacher or a newly qualified teacher that is confident and eager to join a new school and take on a class from September 2018. The school will be offering a perm contract from September 2018. This is a full time role.

About the school

Our client is a lovely four form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Croydon. From September 2018, the school will be opening its doors to a brand new site offering impressive learning spaces for all to enjoy. The KS1 department is well resourced with beautiful open plan classrooms along with high tech IT suites.

In addition to this the pupils are a delight to teach and enjoy coming to school to see their teachers. The Headteacher is very personable and operates with an open door policy.

Candidate requirements

• Qualified Teacher with QTS
• Previous KS1 teaching experience within a primary school setting, ideally in the UK.
• Ability to build rapport with the children
• Well-developed communication skills
• An up to date DBS on the update service or willing to undergo a police check
• Must be able to provide two teacher related referees
