Main duties include-

  1. To co-ordinate and develop the delivery of projects that have been identified by partners in the Fusion Network.

  1. To facilitate and coordinate the Fusion Network Meetings and develop structures to ensure effective engagement with partners, volunteers and the community.

  1. To develop volunteering programmes and support the Network with the implementation of volunteering structures, recruitment process and training and development pathways.

  1. To create a training programme for the members of the Fusion Network to ensure that they have access to relevant training that will support them to meet outcomes of the programme.

  1. To develop a Fusion Marketing and Promotion Plan to raise awareness of the network and maximise resources.

  1. To facilitate consultation and engagement events to identify the gaps in provision and needs of the community. To support the Network to address gaps in provisions through raising awareness and designing additional programmes to meet the needs.

  1. To support the Fusion Network and partners to apply for external funding to meet the outcomes of the Fusion programme.

  1. To lead on the monitoring and evaluation of the Fusion delivery plan and regularly monitor, collate and update performance management information, reports and other monitoring information requirements to ensure all Council and Welsh Government monitoring is accurate and compliant.

  1. To provide excellent customer care, recruit, support and identify training needs assessments for volunteers and partners within the Fusion Network.

10 Fully adhere to the authorities Financial Procedures Rules and Procurement Procedures whilst ensuring all expenditure meets the funding eligibility criteria.

11. Ensure equality, diversity, wellbeing and sustainability are valued and embedded into services.

12 To adhere to all County Council policies to include: Data Protection, Protection of Vulnerable Adults and Children, Health and Safety Legislation, lone working guidelines. To ensure that confidentiality is always respected and to ensure the safe keeping of IT equipment including laptops and other personal information held in files or electronically, when outreach working or on site.

13 .To carry out other tasks and responsibilities of a similar nature as determined from time to time by the manager in relation to the smooth running of the service.

MAGNITUDE OF JOB:

The role of the Worker will be to coordinate the delivery of projects and activities that have been identified by partners within the Fusion Network. All projects will aim to increase access to cultural services by individuals that are experiencing disadvantage. Through this proposal, there will be an increase in the provision that is currently available to individuals and the introduction of new no and low cost services. The development of the Network allows for cultural services to share resources and add value to their current delivery models. Through the work of the Cultural Engagement Worker there will be an increase in the awareness of cultural services through the development of the current network and the creation of a cultural marketing and communication strategy.
