I have an opening within the Development Team of a Fintech start-up company, for an experienced BI Developer to join at a very exciting time!
This company, who launched in 2017, have had a whirlwind 6-12 months, receiving significant investment and partnerships with household names, and are now going through a headcount growth spurt!
The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of a data engine that will help power the next market disruptor in the fintech space. You will be an integral part of small closely-knit team of passionate people that want to build a great tech platform in an agile manner. You'll be the data evangelist - helping define & create data roadmap & features that can drive the business forward
Your role will involve designing, developing, operating & supporting BI systems that meet the needs of the business. You will implement BI/DW concepts & methodology including full application lifecycle, data modelling & ETL development, and document high level requirements to create detailed technical designs
To be suitable, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
*Strong stakeholder experience & relationship management skills
*Data visualisation experience using MySQL and PowerBI/Yellowfin or equivalent
*Experience of DW concepts, methodology & implementation
*5+ years SQL experience
It would also be great if you had experience within:
*R/Python based machine learning
*Statistical analysis
If you are the successful candidate, you will receive and a competitive salary of up to £50,000, as well as a long list of benefits including Pension Scheme, Death in Service, Life Assurance and a Discretionary Bonus.
The role is based in Surrey so ideally you will live within a commutable distance in order to be in the office 5 days a week. 1 day a week from home may be acceptable for an outstanding candidate. Aside from this, you will spend some days out and about meeting externals stakeholders.
