Job title: Commercial Accountant - Manufacturing Services.
Salary: £39,388 plus company benefits.
Location: Plymouth.

We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Accountant to join Plymouth's largest housing association. Typically they manufacture quality products at competitive prices for the construction and housing industries, including PVCu windows and doors, joinery products and signs and their customers range from large developers to housing associations, councils, private contractors and landlords. Essential experience required:

· Be CIMA / AAT / CCAB qualified or have substantial financial experience in a manufacturing operation.

· Have experience of working in the finance function in a manufacturing environment.

· Be fully experienced in financial planning, budget preparation and forecasting.

· Have proven experience of financial and management accounting including project appraisals and budgetary controls.

· Possess the drive and ability to work under pressure to achieve personal and team goals and deadlines.

Commercial accountant responsibilities will include:

· Debt collection - calling customers to chase on invoices if over payment terms.

· Sales invoices - processing invoices from the Contracts team.

· Reporting on a weekly basis to Head of Manufacturing. Report includes specific issues of credit control and:

· KPIs.
· To make sure invoices are paid within target time (as per KPIs).
· Invoicing / Applications for Payment.
· CIS Returns.
· VAT Returns.
· Bank Reconciliations.
· Month End Reports.
· Cash Flow Reports.
