Early Years Level 3 Practitioner's

Location: Wimbledon, New Malden and London
Start: As soon as possible or September 2018

Contract: Permanent, full time, all year round

The School:

Our Client's is based Wimbledon and New Malden and are under the umbrella of a larger educational group. The Nursery has been renovated with a large investment, consisting of excellent resources. The Nurseries caters for children from the age of 3 months to 5 years and pays staff the London living Wage.

One client is looking for two enthusiastic nursery workers in our friendly, family setting looking after children between the ages of 2-4 year olds

The first post is for the 2-years-old room and the other is for the 3-years-old room. You must have a good knowledge of the EYFS.

The nursery is part of an independent school and candidates applying for the 3-year-old room will benefit from some experience of teaching phonics in a fun and exciting way.

Candidates will be required to plan activities for the children, provide a high standard of care, maintain learning journey files and understand the key person role. Safeguarding children is paramount and all job offers would be subject to references and a up to date DBS check. Hours of work between 7.30am and 6pm, 40 hours per week.

The Successful Candidate/s:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience of working with nursery children
  • Qualified to Level 3
  • GCSE Maths & English qualifications
  • personal characteristics that work well with 2- 5 year old children

Desirable:

  • Good experience of working as a Key Worker
