Product Designer (Permanent)

I have a fab opportunity for an experienced Product Designer to join a 'family feel' tech company based in the heart of Kingston upon Thames. My client are an established Web Platform business, and are soon to create an App as well, who service the Not for Profit industry.

Based 10 minutes from the most beautiful town by the Thames with fantastic restaurants, bars and pubs not to mention amazing shopping, theatre and nightlife. You'll love working in Kingston upon Thames which is only 15 minutes from Clapham Junction, 30 minutes from Waterloo, or 20 minutes from Vauxhall. The area has a great vibe, it's lively but doesn't have central London price tags! What could be better than that!!

They are looking for a Designer who has end-to-end Product Design experience including Interaction Design (research and UX practices), Visual Design (implementation using our Design system) and collaborating with developers and product manager to ship projects. You will also need experience designing and shipping digital products at small to medium scale. It is important that you are comfortable working across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web) and markets (B2C, B2B, internal) to create cohesive product experiences, and you'll need to have workied in a cross-functional team in an agile framework.

You'll be a self-starter who loves to collaborate with developers, data, product managers and other teams. You'll have plenty of experience working in Sketch, working with InVision and any other tools you'd like to bring to the function. You'll have a portfolio of your work with examples of interaction and visual design.

What's the role?

You will be the only in-house Designer and will sit as part of the Product and Marketing function. This will be a varied role, as there are already lots of projects waiting for you!
You'll conduct user interviews and facilitate user research to unearth customer insights.
Working with all stakeholders in Product Development and the wider business, you'll map journeys and finding friction points across user journeys and flows. You will regularly present findings to the wider Product Development organisation and measure the results of your work with support from our data team, looking for improvements and making a tangible impact to business growth.
