NonStop's client, based in the North East of England, is looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Adult Learning Disabilities team

Your Role:

This is a locum 3-6 month contract for Social Workers offering a position as part of a very stable team with strong leadership who are currently taking on a social worker who has experience working with young adults and assisting them with the transition from children to adult services. This Local Authority are looking for social workers with at least 2-3 years post qualified experience in transitions or adult services that can start straight away.

Tasks

• Case Load Management
• Completing reviews and assessment
• Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
• Supporting service users transition to adult services and to live independently in their own homes
• Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
• Working alongside other agencies
• Protecting vulnerable young adults

Vastly experienced candidates may be considered for senior practitioner posts.
