Technical Manager - Solvent based Inks- Hands on Formulation

My client a growing company within the inks market is currently looking for a hands on Technical Manager who is a strong capable leader, to join their growing team.

The company that I am working with specialise in flexographic & gravure inks for a variety of applications with the room to expand. They offer fantastic prospects for someone who is keen to progress inside the sector as they are continuously growing within the UK with the aim to increase exports over the foreseeable future. This will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of challenging projects aiming to boost the companies profile on the market. Therefore the more work that you put in to developing high quality products and staff the more chances of future progression.

In terms of the role itself it will be centred on the development of new ink formulations as well as leading the team behind you. As well as this you will also be required to represent the company at external meetings when visiting clients. Due to the size of the company there is the expectation to be flexible in all accounts which will provide you with a lot more exposure to other aspects of the business that will strengthen your skill set for when you step up into more senior positions.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a managerial position
* Background with Research and Development
* Able to formulate solvent based inks from scratch
* Willing to travel
