Residential Care Worker- Children's Residential Home (Permanent)

Our client is an established provider of therapeutic residential care, foster care and specialist services to young people and is currently celebrating its 30th year of young person's care. At present they are seeking to appoint permanent Residential Care Workers to their homes in the Shrewsbury and Telford regions.

• Residential Care Workers-Emotional, Behavioural Disorders (7-17 year olds)
• "Good" and "Outstanding" rated homes
• Permanent contract (39 hours per week)
• Salary of up to £22,000 annually including sleep ins (overtime and bonus potential available)
• Level 3 Health and Social Care- Children and Young People's Workforce- desirable but not essential
• Previous professional experience in residential care with young people essential
• Immediate starts

The successful applicant must have a full clean UK driving licence and be able to work on a shift/rota basis including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins to fulfil the role. Possessing the Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities for such a role working with the young people resident in this home.
