Job Title: Sessional Tutors Required for Home Tuition positions
Location: Croydon
Start Date: ASAP
Our client are looking for teachers to work as 1:1 home tutors for a number of pupils throughout Croydon from September 2017. This service is for Primary and Secondary aged pupils who are not able to be educated in a school environment, mostly due to medical reasons. They are looking for teachers to work either on part time or full time basis, to travel between different homes.
You will need to attend an induction day after half term at the main service centre with a view of starting ASAP.
As the pupils are a mixture of ages and abilities, you must have SEN teaching experience and be able to teach a broad range of subjects. You will need to be a car driver in order to quickly move between different clients. Though many of the pupils have PMLD there are some pupils with EBD and more moderate learning difficults. Therefore being adaptable to different needs and ages is essential.
You must hold QTS as they are looking for qualified teachers for these roles.
By working with Classroom you will work with a dedicated SEN consultant and will be paid on a weekly basis.
Please note: We undertake checks on all our candidates in line with safeguarding legislation. As such, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00 at registration.
