Development Manager (Permanent)

I am looking to speak with experienced IT development Managers or Senior developers looking to make a move into more of a management role for my client based in Bracknell.

The development manager role will be focused around building applications for internal use by a long-established business of over 500 employees.

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with stakeholders to discuss requirements/advise of progress etc. I am looking for a self-starter who can plan, design and develop new functionality in a fast-paced environment.

The development manager position will be a 50/50 split between hands-on development and managerial responsibilities, the successful development manager should have in excess of 8 years' development experience and 3 years in some management/mentoring capacity.

Primary responsibilities will include:

*Overseeing and growing a team to deliver quality applications to meet deadlines
*Development team leadership and management
*Stakeholder management
*Effective delivery management (CI/CD)
*Research new technologies and ensure that the correct technologies are being used

Required skills:

*Experience of leading full-stack development teams through the full SDLC
*Experience of creating complex SPAs for both web and mobile
*Experience of working in an agile environment
*Back-end languages - C#, ASP.Net, .Net, MVC & SQL
*Front-end languages - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript + at least one framework
*Experience of working with REST services, Web API, WCF & JSON
