Although you will work in various sectors, a large proportion of the projects will be for major customers in the healthcare sector; this will involve machine learning, natural language processing, visualisation and large-scale data.
Open door policy is something that is available from day one. Technology recommendations are always well received and you really will have a voice and be able to influence the direction of projects and tools used.
In terms of experience, you won't be expected to have used all of the technologies listed, although you will have a strong and varied background using Java 8 in a commercial setting. When you get up and running you will be using frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, React and NodeJS, as well as other tools such as Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker and MongoDB.
In return for your hard work, there is a great degree of flexible working available. General offices hours are 9 - 5, although start times are lenient and remote working is also available for when you need you it.
The salary for these Software Developer roles will vary depending on your experience; the starting range available is £35,000 - £55,000.
