Position- Systems Engineer - Contract
Location-Bristol
My client is searching for an experience Systems Engineer to work with one of their key customers for a long term resident contract position. The contract will last 30 months and is based between Bristol and Bath.
This is a rare chance to get involved with two cutting edge technology companies both of which are working on the latest technologies and are industry leaders. It will be an interesting position and you'll be working alongside a highly talented team of engineers.
For this position, you should have a strong background in new automotive technologies and experience with chassis engineering. The projects will be in the latest EV development in the Chassis department.
Role responsibilities -
*Provide technical insight and support to internal and external customers, support the customer to resolve and dissolve issues.
*Plan, prepare, support and conduct customer communications for technical, supply, test or application activities as require
*Projects manage and support of inter-company and customer-facing project activities
*Assist customer representatives understand technical and system features and provide additional support or approved documentation as required
Your skill set-
*Automotive background with 7 plus years industry experience, degree qualified in relevant subject.
*Previous experience in customer facing roles in a RnD environment
*Chassis and Safety processes understanding, ideally from a technical background.
*Up to date knowledge of best practises and new developments within the automotive field.
*You must be a strong communicator and have excellent written skills, ideally you would speak German.
*Highly-motivated and capable of working in an analytical and methodical manner on concurrent activities
