Would you like to work outside near and on the beach in the summer?
We are recruiting for long term seasonal maintenance workers to maintain the up keep of the public open spaces in the coastal towns of Exmouth and Sidmouth in East Devon.
The hours of work will be working 5 days out of 7 from 7.30am to 4.30pm with a starting hourly rate of pay of £8.82
Duties will include:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge Trimming
- General upkeep and maintenance of the parks and open spaces
- Emptying public waste bins
- Cleaning public conveniences
- Litter picking
- Street sweeping
Skills required to work in the roles in Exmouth and Sidmouth in East Devon:
- Manual Handling
- Operating machinery such as mowers, strimmers leaf blowers
- Working unsupervised
- Using own initiative
- Health and Safety
- Full driving licence desirable but not essential
