Acorn Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Systems Engineer for their global manufacturing client. You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, the position will also require travel to a site in Newark in the UK and Germany. Salary for this position is £52,000 + 15% bonus.
You will be responsible for the whole ERP System for both the UK & Germany.
In the role as a Business Systems Engineer you will;
Be responsible for the whole of the ERP Systems- MS Dynamics NAV
Upgrading the UK office and systems to the latest version
Work in both the UK & Germany sites
Responsible for pushing the ERP systems forward and involved in automating as much outside the systems as well
Take ownership for upgrades and changes to the system and use your expertise to help the company develop their systems further
In order to be successful in this role, you must have;
Flexibility, this role will require travel depending on project work - you will be required to work on both the UK site in Newark and the Germany site in Walkenried
Extensive knowledge of SQL utilising MS Dynamics NAV
Scripting languages would be a plus- such as C#, VB etc.
The ability to work alone, Teamwork, communication skills as well as a goal - and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
Language skills - Fluency in English is a must have for this role and German would be an obvious benefit to this position, however is not essential.
