Technical Officer (Permanent)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical officer with our client in St Asaph. This role requires a full driving licence and previous relevant experience.

The successful candidate would have experience in a similar role providing both technical and practical assistance to clients - including preparing estimates, completing schedules, CAD drawings, obtaining building and planning consent, administering building contracts and holding pre-contract meetings on behalf of the client.

You would provide a technical service providing solutions to improve or adapt properties; support the small repairs service, minor and major works departments ensuring the highest standards are met; provide clients with advice and guidance to follow procedures and complete necessary documentation; visit clients in their own homes to provide technical advice and guidance and carry out checks to identify any defects and the need for maintenance, repairs or adaptations.

You will have previous experience dealing with the public, working in a construction related environment, knowledge and understanding of building contracts including schedule of rates, and experience in a customer service environment and working within a busy office.

If you have experience of working with older or vulnerable client groups this would be advantageous.
