Wireperson (Contract)

Our Client, a world leader in the manufacture of engineering defence equipment, is looking to recruit a Wireperson. The role will involve the following:

Duties / Tasks:

• Soldering
• Wiring
• Looming
• Crimping
• Braiding
• Wire cutting/preparation
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts

Skills and Accountabilities:

Essential

• Prior soldering or wire related experience within an engineering / manufacturing / automotive etc environment
• Dexterity for fine work
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts
• Follow instructions
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns
• Attention to detail

Desirable

• PC literate
• No colour blindness
• Work on with minimal supervision
• IPC 610 certified / trained preferred

As a Semi Skilled operator you will work across a number of departments, including:

• Looming
• PEC Assembly
• Plastics Department
• Manufacturing Control/ Stores
