Counterbalance and Reach FLT Driver (Temporary)
FLT Driver required with both Counterbalance and Reach Licences for an immediate start working on an ongoing basis for Acorn's food production client based on Astmoor Industrial Estate in Runcorn.
Essential criteria:
The ideal candidate must have externally accredited, in date Counterbalance and Reach certification and at least 6 months driving experience of the trucks.
The job role involves:
- Driving the Forklift Trucks in the warehouse and yard.
- Adhering to strict health and safety regulations at all times.
- Unloading and loading deliveries and shipments.
- Moving stock within different warehouse locations.
There are other non-driving tasks which are also a part of the role, including general warehouse tasks and some computer work.
A positive can do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues when needed are also required. Health and safety awareness is also extremely important
Hours
The job involves working a rotating three shift pattern, 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 6:00am, totalling 39 hours per week. The role may become permanent for the successful candidate.
Pay
The rate of pay is £10.14 per hour. Overtime rates are payable for any hours worked over 39 per week.
