Role: Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Location: Birmingham City centre

The Role: Geotechnical Design (Foundations, Piling, Retaining Walls), GIR's, GDR's, Team Leadership and growth, Multi-disciplinary project experience

I am currently looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for my client, an international engineering group specialising in major infrastructure with a focus on cutting edge technologies. You will be working with a high performance team that emphasises a culture of teamwork and employee wellbeing.

Below is a brief overview of the role:

Design Technical Ability: Geotechnical interpretive Report writing, GIR, GDR, Slope stability, Foundation design, Piling, Temporary works design, road design, and complex settlement analysis

Ground Investigation: Design and manage multi-disciplinary site investigations

Project Experience: Infrastructure projects (UK and Overseas), ideally Rail experience

Chartership: Chartered Engineer with ICE, CGEOl Chartered Geologist

Management: Project Management and Delivery (budgeting and cost control), Team management, Client liaison and engagement, business development, Leadership and Interpersonal skills, mentoring
