Senior Legal Cashier (Permanent)
Does the new year have you thinking about a new job? I am delighted to be working with a multi-discipline firm located in West Manchester located just off the M602. This would be to join an accounts team reporting to the practice manager.
Your duties will include but not exclusive to:
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparing and authorising online electronic bank transfers, i.e. CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment, Office disbursement payments
* Dealing with incoming cheques/payments and invoice payments
* Transferring client funds to settle outstanding invoices.
* Posting of all entries to accounting system to be completed on day of transaction
* Resolving any invoice discrepancies
* Investigating client balances on files marked for closure
* Liaising with Fee Earners/Secretaries on a regular basis regarding billing queries
Part-time of full-time hours would be considered and you must have at least 2 years' experience as a legal cashier and competent in conveyancing completions. You must also have experience complying with the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR's.)
You will be rewarded with a generous salary of £25,000+ and flexible working along with free parking which is a great benefit.
