Senior Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a client to find some Senior Maintenance Engineers; the role is based on a large distribution site in Coventry. This is an opportunity to join a very stable business which is one of the largest distributors in the UK; providing a range of domestic and commercial products.
Job Title: Senior Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
Hours: 4 on 4 off - 12 hour days / nights
Location: Coventry
What we're looking for:
- Level 3 in a Mechanical or Electrical trade
- Proven experience within a similar function and industrial environment
- Experience of managing small teams of Engineers (2-4)
- Overseeing contractors at site
- Previous experience using route cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical machinery
The Job:
Based in Coventry, your role will be to integrate with the existing maintenance team and provide a range of Engineering support to a busy manufacturing site
- Support and coach operational colleagues with technical machine issues
- Planning preventative maintenance
- Managing a small team of engineers (2-4 at a time). 70/30 Supervisory/Engineering
- Working with contractors to complete small project work
- Provide strong trouble shooting skills for any technical issues
- Support with plans for continuous improvement
