Finance Manager

We have an exciting role available as Finance Manager! Come, join and lead a smaller team in Germany. In this role you will get the chance to lead a small, enthusiastic team of 3-4 people (to manage locally in Germany), you will have a direct line to local managing director as well as to the director of global finance internationally. Besides the usual hands on finance and accounting related operational tasks, a good mix of internal consulting and people management. A challenging role for someone with great communication skills both in English and German.

You are for sure the right candidate for the role:

• If you enjoy leading by example
• If you are great in delegating tasks as well as creating a team atmosphere
• If you speak and write both in English and German at least C1 level
• If you have a Master's degree in Business/Business Administration, with a major field in finance/controlling or comparable
• If you have 5-10 years experience in finance (financial planning and analysis; experience in accounting, tax and compliance)
• If you have 1-2 years experience in people management (leading a small team)
• If you have experience with providing valuable business support to the management team

What the role offers:

• Functional and disciplinary leading of the German team
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive business decisions (long- and short-term goals and objectives)
• Develop, update, improve and report accurate, actionable, and timely financials and business KPIs
• Responsibility for budgets, forecasts, target/actual variances and ad hoc analyses
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Follow up on performance as well as prepare weekly updates and monthly forecasts
• Main Point of Contact for auditors, tax and legal consultants and leasing companies
• Provide local and global management with reports and data-driven analyses
• Further development and implementation of modern structures, processes and tools in finance and controlling
• Manage and guide a small team, being able to step in whenever operational support is required
