Our client is a national non for profit organisation, dedicated to the well-being of all people, no matter the circumstances. Their corporate social responsibility is second to non and they would like someone with the same values to join their team, in the position of Corporate Fundraising Manager.

Processes and Implementation

  • Work with fellow Fundraising and Communications Managers and Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop cohesive and effective campaigns that engage, retain and optimise corporate donors and supporters. Ensure that all opportunities for synergies and co-operation across income streams are maximised and that plans are co-ordinated and with a consistent message
  • Ensure reporting structures are in place to deliver the timely evaluation of all campaigns.
  • Act as an internal advocate for your donors and ensure they are at the centre of all activities.
  • Ensure the team maintain the correct balance between core management of a Corporate Partner Portfolio and other projects and duties. Optimise the time spent by each of the team in direct contact with each of the companies in their respective portfolios
  • Maintain and develop a range of products that meet the needs of our Corporate Partners and keep this range under constant review
  • Liaise with the Communications team to ensure consistency of messaging and materials with marketing strategy.
  • Manage and be responsible for the Corporate Fundraising budget (both income and expenditure) and ensure targets are met.
  • Develop and embed good practice to ensure the effective management of key accounts, optimise existing accounts and target new accounts with the likely highest potential
  • Ensure the correct structures and supports are in place for the team in the implementation and management of the corporate programmes.
  • In conjunction with other Managers ensure that sponsorship opportunities (events, programmes, marketing etc..) are fully utilised
  • Develop a strategy and process that extends our effectiveness in winning grant/trust/foundation awards, including research of opportunities and effective collaboration with internal managers.
  • Ensure that we have good processes and tracking of grant/trust/foundation applications
  • Work with the CRM Services Manger to ensure donor care follows best practice and utilises our CRM systems fully

  • To undertake other duties as may be requested by the line manager from time to time

Experience

-Proven professional experience within the corporate or not for profit sector specifically in a Sales /Marketing/Events, new business development or fundraising capacity for at least 3 years.

-Experience of working on own initiative and within a team situation.

-Proven track record of building long term relationships
