Randstad are working alongside a huge property and services organisation who are recruiting for a Facilities Officer to provide comprehensive maintenance and and support across a number of leisure centres within the Leeds area, primarily based in the LS12, LS16 or LS27 postcodes.

Main Duties:

• Support and assist in the delivery of hard and soft facilities maintenance within leisure centres, as well as key holder and site access duties
• Carry out planned maintenance as programmed and directed, to include statutory L8 and fire related testing and inspections.
• Carry out water testing and adjustments of the swimming pool plant to ensure availability.
• Support and assist with delivery of the site cleaning.
• Assist in the induction, training and supervision of cleaning teams in all aspects of the contractual agreements.

Experience:

• Previous experience within a facilities-based role, especially if within a leisure centre environment.
• General experience within a maintenance-based role, especially with prior knowledge of swimming pools
• Full driving license and ability to travel between sites as required
• Comfortable working on an AM/PM shift rota and on call rota when necessary
