Role: Senior Building Surveyor
Location: London
Type of employment: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £50-£55k
Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist staff including building surveyors and administrative staff
- Undertaking a variety of Building Surveys including Condition Surveys, Dilapidation Surveys and DDA surveys
- To lead and manage large maintenance / refurbishment projects as required by the client and Building Surveyor Team Leader
- Delivering projects, commissions, and professional assignments
- Retaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other colleagues
Required:
- BSc in building surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 2/3 years in senior building surveyor works
- Significant exposure to, and good working relations with, private and public sector clients
- IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and other bespoke software)
- Well-developed skills in the areas of surveys, refurbishment, repairs, and maintenance
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute
