A leading full-service law firm are seeking a Paralegal to join their Family department based in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family Paralegal to join an award-winning law firm to develop their experience.

The successful paralegal will support the Family Solicitor assisting on a caseload of Legal Aid Family and domestic violence matters with the scope to progress to managing your own caseload as the role develops.

About This Family Law Paralegal Role

Communicating with court

Updating clients on case progress

Preparing bundles of documents for hearings

Day to day assistance for the family team

Supporting the Family Law Team to grow the department and be willing to work in a Team

Working on the Legal Aid Agency System CCMS (experience in this is essential

Drafting letters and emails and undertaking all general administration duties

Taking all new client enquiries, briefly assessing circumstances, and arranging appointments

Addressing client telephone enquiries

Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be a driven and motivated individual with a willingness to go the extra mile for clients
