Finance Business Partner

We are recruiting on behalf of a client of ours for a Finance Business Partner, based in Hartlepool. The manufacturing site in Hartlepool is Europe's leading manufacturer of hot finished, cold formed welded steel tubular products, structural hollow sections, large diameter pipe and many more. This is an exciting opportunity that combines two opportunities of both a site Finance Business Partner (FBP) and Business Analyst (BA).

Accountabilities of the FBP:

· Support ATCE in ensuring site data is complete and available in a timely manner as required for the preparation of site financial reporting.

· Supporting preparation and responsibility for finalisation of monthly results, working closely with ATCE colleagues, and onward communication and understanding to local management team. This will include preparation of latest view forecast.

· Responsibility for review and maintenance of annual Standards.

· The FBP leads the Annual Plan process for the site, liaising closely with Commercial FBP for sales input and ATCE who will process AP.

· To provide financial support to local management team through cost analysis and control, calculation of bonus elements, scrap invoicing as examples.

· Analysis, assess and advise on short-term opportunities (e.g. cost/production, short term selling, supply chain fulfilment and inventory levels).

· The jobholder takes end user accountability for the development, maintenance and operation of specified systems and processes within their area of responsibility.

Accountabilities of the BA:

· To support the local management team with UK transformation work; providing input into strategy development, evaluating benefits and then tracker and monitor actual performance with a focus on the underlying process improvements.

· To support the preparation of the CAPEX proposals and the monitoring of the progress both for the site and across Tubes UK.

· To support and provide financial insight for the sites continuous improvement programme focusing on elements such as material usage, flow of material through the plant, efficiency improvements and employee utilisation.

· To deal with ad-hoc information/reporting requests.

· There is an overriding assumption that the jobholder will act as a role model providing strong leadership on health and safety.

Acorn Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a client; this opportunity is for approximately 12 months. With a salary benefit of £45,000 per annum.
