Our client is a global leader and house hold trusted name in Business News and Media! They are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Executive to join the Product Marketing team. On offer is an excellent salary for someone with 2+ years of content creation and copy writing experience (ideally in publishing or business media) £30,000-£34,000 + bonus and excellent benefits! The role sits within the most successful division in the company,in the B2B division, responsible for content in respect to subscription licensing and journalism to organisation, including professional services firms, government agencies, banks and universities. The role is responsible for creating engaging content that clearly demonstrates a value proposition, and marketing this to corporate and education audiences. Additionally, this role will provide support to client-facing teams, including sales enablement content, ensuring they have the resources they need to effectively communicate key messages to prospects and existing clients.

Main Responsibilities:

● Creates engaging content for both existing customers and prospects, including case studies, blog posts, videos, website and social copy
● Produces sales enablement materials to help Sales teams sell effectively to key customer segments, including presentations, brochures, fact sheets and guides
● Works closely with Regional Marketing teams to produce sector and role-specific content and collateral to support key campaigns
● Designing and copywriting key content marketing assets
● Briefs creative assets through the design studio, ensuring that all content is delivered to a high standard
● Manages global campaigns for selected products/markets/value propositions
● Publishes deliverables within the Showpad platform for internal distribution and on the website/other digital hubs for customer use
● Hosts B2B Showcase sessions to make sure client facing teams understand and are equipped to use the deliverables produced by product marketing
● Understands the competitive landscape and provides competitive intelligence to sales and marketing teams
● Reports on the effectiveness of content marketing and sales enablement activity

PERSON SPECIFICATION :

Qualifications / Competencies / Skills / Experience
Essential :

● 1-2 years of product marketing or content marketing experience
● Experience of producing marketing collateral/sales tools
● Comfortable producing marketing assets using the Adobe suite of products
● Excellent copywriting skills
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Proven track record of a close, successful relationship with sales
● Exposure to the sales process and best practices
● Demonstrates the persistence and drive required to champion a product/service and deliver tangible results
● Comfortable working in a highly data-driven marketing environment
● Has been involved in customer research projects
● Evidence of working collaboratively to achieve results
Preferred
● Degree/Qualification in Business or Marketing
● Experience of marketing in different regions
● Exposure to and knowledge of the media and publishing industry
